Safer Neighbourhoods

A truly local policing style: local people working with local police and partners to identify and tackle issues of concern in their neighbourhood. Safer Neighbourhood teams usually consist of a sergeant, two constables and several community support officers (PCSOs). They are dedicated to the needs of each specific neighbourhood, with the policing priorities for that area decided in partnership with local stakeholders - the public, crime and disorder reduction partnerships (CDRPs), local authorities and other local organisations.

Bromley Police Crime Prevention

It is not enough for the police alone to fight crime. Reducing the risk and fear of crime is a task for the police and the community working together. To achieve the aim of making London the safest major city in the world requires the people who live, work and visit here to do their part in making life difficult for criminals. Basic information to help contribute to the fight against crime by protecting yourself and your property can be found by following this link .
